Mexico City, November 25, 2021.- At the 2021 Mexico International Energy Meeting, organized annually by Oil & Gas Magazine, an energy-sector specialized media outlet, Jaguar won the Technological Development of the Year award for implementing the first ever virtual gas pipeline In Mexico, a technological solution that promotes access to affordable and cleaner energy in Mexico. The solution see gas compressed at the wellhead to CNG and commercialization via truck, eliminating the need for a physical pipeline.

During the awards ceremony, held on November 24 to inaugurate EIEM 2021—other leading companies in the energy sector such as Fieldwood Energy and OPIS by IHS Markit participated in the event—Jaguar celebrated the recognition that the Company’s exceptional work has received for putting innovation at the service of the country.
The virtual duct will allow Jaguar to expand the commercial viability of natural gas fields in remote areas, enabling the company to increase energy access for the most vulnerable populations in Mexico and contributing to the country’s energy transition.
